Lisa Landry is one of the most fearless and innovative women working in the
New York City stand-up comedy scene. Her fresh take on the traditional topics of
family, love and modern life earned her the distinction of starring in her own half
hour special "Comedy Central Presents Lisa Landry." And a nationwide audience
vote catapulted her special to third place in Comedy Central's 2008 Annual
Standup Showdown. Landry is the first woman to ever place in the top three. She
can also be seen in the frequent re-runs of her 2005 appearance on the network's
popular show "Premium Blend."
The Louisiana native is featured on the "Brett Butler Presents: The Southern
Belles of Comedy" DVD and tour slated for release this fall. She's done
commentary on CMT's "20 Greates Redneck Moments" and for E!'s "Forbes Top
100 Celebrities."
An extremely versatile performer- Landry  co-starred on "Law and Order: SVU"
and is a contributing writer to US Weekly's satirical "Fashion Police."
One of the most sought-after female comedians in the business, her hectic
schedule keeps her constantly on-stage at clubs, theaters and colleges
throughout the country.

CENTRAL, Last Comic on NBC, Russel Peters Comedy Slam coming to
